“The exhibition is a small showcase of works by five Polish artists based in Andalusia. Zbigniew Ambroziak, Krzysztof Kosowski, Eliza Miścior, Anna Nosowicz Ruiz and Aga Strauss chose southern Spain as their place of residence for various personal and professional reasons. All of them continue to dedicate themselves to art, just as they did in their homeland. Today, the five Polish artists are part of the Andalusian cultural scene. The techniques and formats through which they express themselves are very diverse. The exhibition will feature oil and acrylic paintings, mixed media works, as well as linocuts and drawings.” Edyta Niewinska, sociologist, writer.

During the opening, we were not only able to enjoy the works of the five artists, but we were also accompanied by the group Give Me Milk, as well as the electronic experimental music group The Humedo. Additionally, Krzysztof Kosowski gave a small demonstration of his mouth/foot painting technique.

The event was organized by Asociación Cultural Hispano-Polaca TU KULTURA y and Ayuntamiento de Sevilla.
